The Christian Family Centre is part of family of churches raised up by God to express our beliefs in an appealing and relevant way.
Our Biblical Foundation
Like other churches, we accept and rely on the Bible as God’s Word, and we express our Christian beliefs, values, ethics and behaviour in an attitude of friendship and cooperation with other Christian denominations.
It's all about Jesus
Our view of the Christian life is centred around a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and we help people rest in the finished work of Christ’s death on the Cross, His resurrection on their behalf; and the reality of Christ in us through the person of the Holy Spirit.
We place our trust in the doing and dying of Christ on our behalf and we depend on Christ’s living presence to save us and to continually sustain us in our Christian walk.
What should I expect at a Sunday Service?
Every week the Christian Family Centre holds a services that starts at 10am and finishes about 11:30am. The service includes a time of worship with contemporary music, communion and a relevant messages. There is an informal friendly atmosphere which is inviting for first time visitors.
After the service people usually remain for a coffee in the Sanctuary Cafe. On the first Sunday of the month a fellowship lunch is provided.
We are actively involved in our local community through craft activities, small groups and ministry within the church, community and prison. Please contact us if you would like more details.
As a member church of CRC Churches International (the denominational family we are part of) we adhere to CRC Duty of Care & Child Protection Guidelines which inform and guide our practice http://crcchurches.org/crc-duty-of-care-child-protection-guidelines/.
